As a Contracts Administrator, you will work closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership team, playing a key role in the commercial management and successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for contract administration, cost control and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing head contract and subcontract administration across multiple projects
- Preparing, reviewing and issuing subcontract agreements and scopes of work
- Managing variations, progress claims and payment schedules
- Cost tracking, forecasting and budget management
- Procurement of trades and suppliers in line with programme requirements
- Ensuring contractual compliance and maintaining accurate project documentation
- Supporting project reporting and maintaining project management systems
- Assisting with risk management, value engineering and commercial negotiations
- Maintaining strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients throughout project delivery
- 2+ years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator within the commercial construction industry
- Experience delivering Fitout or refurbishment complex building projects valued between $1M and $20M
- Exposure to education projects is highly regarded
- Experience across laboratories, hospitals, medical facilities or technically complex services-based projects will be highly advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams
- Salary up to $160,000 + Super, depending on experience
