An excellent opportunity for an experienced an Accountant to join their team and assist the tight-knit finance team of 4 within their Sydney office.
About the Role
Within this fast-paced role, you will report directly in the Financial Controller
and be a part of a tight-knit team within the business’ Head Office in Inner-South Sydney.
Your duties will include:
- Financial Reporting & Planning
- Report and maintenance of: Cashflow, WIP spreadsheet, Business Summary, P&L, Balance sheet, End of project review, business performance - budget vs actual etc. for all projects
- Business forecasting and budgeting
- Timesheet uploading for subcontractors
- Wages journal management
- BAS Preparation
- Liaise with external accounts, solicitors, auditors and insurance providers
- Risk Management
- Analysis of current processes and suggest efficiency improvements
For success within this role, my client is looking for;
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Construction industry experience required
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance or related discipline preferred
- Good communication skills - Both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- Jobpac experience is preferred, with experience in implementing an ERP highly desirable
The successful candidate will receive a remuneration package of $80,000 - $100,000 + superannuation.
