As the Council Liaison Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all building approvals and permits are managed efficiently. You’ll liaise closely with councils, certifiers, engineers, and internal departments to keep projects moving smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, lodge, and manage building permit applications and approvals
- Coordinate documentation for DA, CDC, and CC submissions
- Communicate with councils, certifiers, and consultants to track progress
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations
- Support the construction and drafting teams with permit-related queries
- Previous experience in a similar position such as Permits Officer or Preconstruction Coordinator within residential construction
- Strong knowledge of local council requirements and building legislation
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Onsite Companion is desirable
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Up to $90k + super (experience dependent)
- Monday - Friday, full time
- Flexi Hours - choose your hours between 7:30am - 5:00pm
