This business continues to grow and are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our Sydney-based team. This is a full-time, permanent role based at Sydney Olympic Park , where you'll work closely with engineers and project managers to develop accurate, detailed mechanical drawings and specifications . Your work will support the successful design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- As Design Engineer you will produce detailed mechanical design drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
- This Design Engineer will translate engineering concepts, sketches, and mark-ups into clear and accurate technical drawings
- The Design Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design coordination and quality
- As the Design Engineer you will maintain drawing registers and ensure document control standards are followed
- Assist with developing and maintaining drafting standards and templates
- The Design Engineer will support project delivery from concept through to construction documentation
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer, ideally 3+ years
- Advanced skills in Revit and AutoCAD are essential
- Strong knowledge of mechanical services, HVAC systems, and general building services
- Experience working within the critical facilities , data centre, or commercial infrastructure sectors is highly regarded
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and meet tight deadlines
