What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead electrical design input across the tender phase
- Review design concepts and ensure compliance with project requirements and standards
- Prepare technical proposals, specifications, and returnable schedules
- Analyse and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and construction teams
- Manage interfaces with clients, NSPs, and stakeholders
- Support technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment and supplier documentation
- Provide input into risk, constructability, and value engineering
- Senior-level engineer (10+ years’ experience)
- Strong background in HV substations and/or transmission (330kV+)
- Experience in tender / bid phase design work
- Strong understanding of AEMO / NSP requirements
- Experience managing design scope within EPC / D&C environments
- Proven experience in design leadership and coordination
- Commercial mindset with focus on buildability, cost and programme
