As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient document management across multiple construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all project documentation across the full lifecycle using Aconex (essential).
- Set up and maintain project folders, workflows and transmittal registers.
- Issue, receive and process all drawings, RFIs, specifications, ITPs and technical documentation.
- Prepare and send transmittals, ensuring all parties receive the correct, up-to-date information.
- Maintain version control, revision tracking and quality checks on all documents.
- Support Project Managers, Engineers and Design teams with submission deadlines.
- Coordinate document flow between manufacturing, site teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project document control standards and audit requirements.
- Provide user support and basic training for project teams on Aconex processes.
- Generate weekly document status reports and dashboards for leadership.
About you:
- Minimum 2 years experience in document control role within the construction or engineering field.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Aconex and SharePoint
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously
