Position Title:  Architect / Draftsperson

About the Role
We’re on the hunt for someone who genuinely loves the nitty-gritty — the kind of person who gets a little too excited about a perfectly resolved detail.
You live and breathe the intricacies of making design not just look good, but actually work. Taking a developed design and turning it into clear, considered documentation? That’s your sweet spot.
We are looking for an experienced Architect or Draftsperson with a strong background in commercial projects (with some residential exposure) to join our growing team. This role suits someone who can lead, keep projects moving, and balance big-picture thinking with a sharp eye for detail.
You’ll be working across a range of projects, translating design intent into high-quality, buildable documentation, while collaborating closely with internal teams and external consultants.

About You
We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of experience, attention to detail, and a positive approach to teamwork, along with a strong understanding of how projects come together from design through to documentation and delivery.
Ideally, you:
  • Are an Australian resident or citizen
  • Have 5+ years’ experience in commercial architecture or drafting
  • Have a solid understanding of construction detailing and documentation processes
  • Are confident taking a developed design and resolving it into clear, accurate, buildable drawings
  • Have experience leading or guiding a team and keeping projects on track
  • Have experience coordinating with consultants and navigating project constraints
  • Are proactive in identifying and resolving design or documentation issues
  • Have a strong eye for detail and take pride in producing high-quality work
  • Are patient, organised, and thorough in your approach
  • Enjoy working both independently and collaboratively
  • Contribute positively to a team and value a supportive work environment
  • Feel comfortable in a fun, energetic, and social studio culture
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed documentation packages for commercial projects
  • Translate design intent into accurate, buildable drawings
  • Lead and contribute to project documentation from design development through to construction
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Manage and contribute to Building Permit documentation and processes
  • Oversee service and consultant coordination
  • Assist in tender and construction documentation and delivery
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD or similar)
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and detailing
  • Demonstrated experience across commercial projects (with some residential exposure)
  • Experience across project stages including Building Permits, consultant coordination, and construction documentation
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Clear communication skills — both written and verbal
