Design & Build is partnering with an established Brisbane-based commercial construction company - looking for an experienced Architectural Senior Draftsperson / Revit Technician operating on the front and back end of multi-residential and commercial projects.
This role is suited for a "revit gun" with extensive experience delivering multi-residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments in Brisbane from concept design through to construction documentation and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Design Managers and project teams by contributing across all project stages, from feasibility and Development Application (DA) through to detailed design and Issued for Construction (IFC) documentation.
- Produce high quality 3D models and construction documentation using Revit
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, engineers, contractors, and relevant stakeholders
- Ensure documentation complies with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, Queensland Development Code (QDC), and relevant planning requirements.
- Minimum 10 years' experience working on multi-residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- At least 7 years' experience with Revit, documentation, and Revit family creation.
- Demonstrated experience across both front-end (pre-DA) and back end (post-DA, IFC) of projects
- Knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, and Queensland Development Code.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other BIM-related software is highly regarded.
