About the Role
- Produce accurate preliminary, planning, working, and prestart drawings aligned with company standards and building codes.
- Ensure compliance with NCC, R-Codes, shire policies, and developer covenants for submission and construction purposes.
- Work collaboratively with internal admin, design, and estimating teams to deliver client outcomes on time.
- Liaise with engineers, energy assessors, and surveyors to confirm and coordinate information.
- Manage drawing revisions and variations in line with client changes and construction requirements.
- Maintain documentation accuracy while working to lead-time expectations.
About You
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation.
- Strong knowledge of NCC, Residential Design Codes, and relevant Australian Standards.
- Ability to interpret DAPs, LDPs, and structural plans.
- Solid understanding of construction methods and buildability.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to challenges.
- Capable of producing detailed working and contract drawings.
- Self motivated with the ability to work unsupervised or in a small team.
- Competitive salary up to $90k + Super (commensurate with experience).
