We're seeking an enthusiastic and motivated EHS Coordinator
to join our commercial construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 12 months' experience
in a construction safety role who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Working closely with the Project EHS Manager and site leadership team, you'll be a visible presence on site, supporting day-to-day safety activities and helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with WHS requirements.
This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships with workers and subcontractors, and learning from experienced safety professionals.

The Role As the EHS Coordinator, you will support the delivery of environmental, health and safety initiatives across the project, helping to foster a positive safety culture while ensuring compliance with legislative and site requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Big focus on site presence and ensuring machine and plant equipment are up to standard.
- Supporting the implementation of the project's Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management systems.
- Conducting regular site inspections, audits and workplace observations.
- Assisting with site inductions, toolbox talks and safety communications.
- Monitoring work areas to ensure safe work practices are maintained.
- Supporting subcontractor compliance with site safety requirements.
- Assisting with incident reporting, investigations and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintaining accurate safety records and documentation.
- Working alongside supervisors to identify hazards and implement practical risk controls.
- Promoting a proactive safety culture through coaching, communication and engagement with site teams.
To be successful, you will have:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a construction safety, WHS or EHS support role.
- Experience working on commercial or civil construction projects.
- A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or be working towards completing it).
- A current White Card.
- A sound understanding of Australian WHS legislation and construction safety practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with site teams.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and genuine commitment to promoting safe work practices.
