Electrical Supervisor | NSW | Renewable Energy
A fast-growing Australian renewable energy company scaling rapidly in New South Wales, helping households take control of their energy through solar, battery and Virtual Power Plant solutions. With strong growth on the cards and an expanding contractor network across NSW, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to fill a critical role following a recent resignation.
About the Role
This is a purely off-tools leadership role. You won't be picking up a screwdriver, you'll be providing supervisory oversight and compliance support across both in-house electrical teams and external contractors as the business scales in NSW. You'll act as the nominated Qualified Supervisor under the company's Electrical Contractor's Licence and be the go-to person for technical escalations, compliance, quality and team development.
Given the growth trajectory in NSW, this role has real potential to expand quickly as the team builds out.

What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the nominated Qualified Supervisor under the company's NSW Electrical Contractor's Licence
- Overseeing the quality, safety and compliance of all electrical work carried out by in-house electricians, apprentices and external contractors
- Conducting audits and spot checks to maintain installation and service standards
- Providing technical support and fault diagnosis for solar, battery and inverter systems without being on the tools
- Mentoring, coaching and upskilling electricians, apprentices and contractor partners
- Driving a zero harm safety culture and continuous improvement across all delivery models
- Reporting on compliance, service KPIs and certification status to senior leadership
- NSW A Grade Electrical Licence
- SAA accreditation across solar and battery installation
- Eligible and willing to act as Qualified Supervisor under an Electrical Contractor's Licence
- Strong knowledge of solar and battery systems across a range of brands
- A genuine leadership mindset with a focus on quality, safety and developing people
- Based in or near Sydney with ability to travel across NSW
- NSW Driver's Licence, White Card and Working at Heights
