This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the full estimating and tender lifecycle, leading a team of estimators and a tender writer, and driving improved bid quality, consistency and win rates.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end estimating and tender process from enquiry to submission
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of estimators and a tender writer
- Setting pricing strategies aligned to commercial objectives and risk profiles
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to improve bid quality and conversion rates
- Overseeing workload planning, resourcing and tender pipelines
- Driving consistency, governance and continuous improvement across estimating processes
- Reviewing market conditions and competitor positioning to maintain competitiveness
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in a senior estimating or estimating management role within construction
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams
- High-level commercial acumen and risk awareness
- Experience across complex tenders and negotiated projects
