This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in cabinetry / joinery estimating who enjoys working on detailed projects, pricing tenders, and supporting a busy pipeline of commercial and high-end residential work.
Working closely with the leadership and production team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of joinery packages. This role will suit someone who understands the full joinery process and can confidently price jobs from concept through to submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial joinery and residential cabinetry projects
- Calculating labour, materials, hardware, and subcontractor requirements
- Liaising with suppliers to secure competitive pricing
- Identifying scope gaps, discrepancies, and clarifications required
- Working closely with drafting, design, and production teams to confirm feasibility
- Submitting professional tender packages within deadlines
- Assisting with tender follow-ups, negotiations, and project handovers
- Proven experience estimating within cabinet making / joinery
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, finishes, and hardware
- Confident reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications
- Strong Excel and costing skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to price competitively and accurately
- High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
