Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documentation, architectural drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial joinery and high-end residential cabinetry.
- Calculate labour, materials, hardware and subcontractor costs.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and confirm material specifications.
- Identify scope gaps, discrepancies and areas requiring clarification.
- Collaborate with drafting, design and production teams to assess project feasibility.
- Prepare and submit accurate, professional tender packages within deadlines.
- Assist with tender follow-ups, negotiations and project handovers.
- Proven experience estimating within the cabinet making or joinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction, materials, finishes and hardware.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans, detailed drawings and specifications.
- Strong Excel, costing and estimating skills.
- Commercial awareness and a practical approach to pricing.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
