Estimator required for an Industrial Builder with projects across Sydney's Western region. Great opportunity for you to join a leading Tier 3 builder that has a strong presence across Commercial and Industrial projects.
Your duties will include:
- Preparation of initial estimating assessment of tenders.
- Perform trade break ups of documentation, appropriate trade subcontractor selection lists, and liaise with subcontractors to ensure they have a full understanding of the required scope of works and programme.
- Final preparation and presentation of rated and coded Bill of Quantities and/or cost plan for internal review and issuing appropriate information to stakeholders.
- Comparison and analysis of subcontractor pricing.
- 2+ years of Estimating experience, ideally working for a commercial construction company
- Experience working on Construction projects valued $3M+
- Previous experience working on Commercial or Industrial projects is preferred, but not essential
- Proactive problem solver but also able to ask for help if required.
- Ambition to commit long term to the business
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
