About the Role:
An established and reputable commercial construction company is seeking an Estimator
to join its high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work across a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial new build & fitout/refurb as well as high-end residential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction tenders and negotiated projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and scope clarification
- Participate in value engineering, tender reviews, and presentations
- Contribute to bid strategy and project procurement planning
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Estimator role within commercial construction
- Proven track record delivering estimates for projects ranging between $5M–$20M
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market rates
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
