Estimator

We're on the lookout for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established construction business who delivers a range of projects across regional WA.
 
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the team to prepare cost estimates for a variety of construction projects. This role demands the ability to develop estimates from first principles.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on drawings, site information, and specifications
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source current pricing
• Participate in bid preparation, submission, and post-tender negotiations.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.

• Previous experience in Estimating position
• Solid understanding of construction principles, materials, and methodologies
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar equivalent
• Construction or residential experience - Advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive team environment.
