Are you an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step in your career with a leading national industrial builder? We are currently seeking a skilled Estimator to join a dynamic team working on large-scale industrial projects across Australia. About the Role:
As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate cost estimation's for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects are thoroughly analyzed, cost-effective, and aligned with project specifications. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality industrial builds.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for industrial construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and other documents to ensure all costs are covered.
  • Assess and evaluate potential risks, providing advice to the project team on how to mitigate them.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and material costs to ensure estimates remain competitive.
  • Provide cost-saving recommendations and identify opportunities to improve project budgets.
  • Review tender submissions and assist in the preparation of bids for new projects.
About You:
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial construction or industrial sector including D&C.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques, construction processes, and project specifications.
  • Proficient in using estimation software such as Cubit and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (desirable).
