As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in securing new projects by preparing accurate and competitive tenders from concept through to submission. Working closely with the Pre-Construction and Delivery teams, you'll be involved in pricing, subcontractor engagement, value engineering and tender strategy across a diverse portfolio of projects.
The Role
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Source and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop winning tender strategies.
- Assist with budgeting, cost planning and handover to project delivery teams.
- Experience as an Estimator within commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of local subcontractor and supplier markets.
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
