We're partnering with a highly regarded luxury home builder based in The Shire, renowned for delivering bespoke residences valued up to $8 million. Due to continued growth, they're seeking a Senior Estimator(or an experienced Estimator ready to step up) to join their close-knit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of Sydney's most prestigious custom homes, collaborating closely with the construction team from pre-construction through to project delivery. The Role As the Senior Estimator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring every project is accurately costed and set up for success. Working closely with Construction, Design and Management, you'll provide detailed estimates for bespoke homes while contributing valuable commercial insight throughout the build process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for architecturally designed luxury homes valued up to $8M.
- Review plans, specifications and engineering documentation.
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Prepare BOQs, cost plans and tender submissions.
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure seamless project handovers.
- Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining design integrity and quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with budgeting, procurement and cost planning throughout the pre-construction phase.
- Proven estimating experience within the luxury residential construction sector.
- Experience pricing architecturally designed custom homes.
- A trade background in carpentry, building or a related construction trade, or a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials and building practices.
- Excellent commercial acumen and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with construction, design and leadership teams.

- Salary up to $160K + Super, negotiable depending on experience.
