We’re seeking a detail‑driven Estimator to support accurate pricing, smooth project delivery and ongoing growth within a busy, fast‑paced construction environment. This role suits someone confident with residential estimating who enjoys variety, problem‑solving and working closely with internal teams and suppliers.
About the Role
You’ll play a key part in preparing cost estimates, completing take‑offs, reviewing plans and supporting the wider project team from initial pricing through to construction handover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates and BOQs for residential and modular builds
- Completing material take‑offs and reviewing drawings for pricing accuracy
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
- Maintaining estimating databases and price books
- Identifying cost‑saving opportunities and design efficiencies
- Supporting project teams with clear communication and timely documentation
- Assisting with tender submissions and pricing breakdowns
You’ll bring strong attention to detail, solid construction knowledge and confidence working across multiple projects at once.
We’re looking for:
- Experience in residential or modular estimating
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Strong numerical accuracy and analytical skills
- Excellent communication with suppliers, contractors and internal teams
- Experience with estimating software such as Beams, Databuild or similar
