The Role
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing major projects across a diverse portfolio of work.
Working closely with senior management and pre-construction teams, you will be involved in tenders from initial pricing through to submission, developing winning strategies, managing subcontractor engagement and helping secure future projects.
The Role:
- Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender submissions on projects ranging from $50M to $500M+
- Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing enquiries
- Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
- Participate in risk reviews and bid strategy workshops
- Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers
- Assist in developing competitive tender strategies
- Proven experience as an Estimator working for a head contractor
- Experience pricing major commercial construction projects valued $30M+
- Strong commercial and technical understanding of construction methodology
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
