We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to support a high-profile project on a 6-month fixed-term contract, based in Newcastle, with an immediate start.
About the Role:
As Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the finance and project teams with day-to-day financial operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is available to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and reconciling invoices, purchase orders, and expenses
- Assisting with budget tracking and cost control
- Supporting month-end financial reporting and project cost reviews
- Liaising with internal teams and suppliers on finance queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policie
- Previous experience in finance administration or accounts roles within similar construction industries.
- Proficiency of JD Edwards is highly regarded
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach
- Up to $80k + Super
