The Opportunity:
- Ensure tax compliance, including IAS/BAS lodgements, payroll tax reporting, and local government submissions
- Process payroll and support general HR administration
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations
- Coordinate ERP upgrades and customisations; provide user support and assist with testing
- Perform general administrative tasks and ad hoc finance duties as required
- Manage end-of-month reporting, job profitability analysis, financial statements, and budget planning
- Forecast cash flow and track weekly KPIs
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register
- Prepare and reconcile financial data for external audits
- 5+ years of experience working in a similar role
- Membership with CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants (CA)
- Experience in Construction, Commercial, Residential or Manufacturing industries considered
- Demonstrates a professional, proactive approach to work
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
