A well-established residential construction business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Senior Company Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and become a key operational support across the business.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working autonomously, improving processes and being the go-to person for all things finance and accounts.
The Role Reporting directly to senior leadership, responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- BAS preparation and general tax administration support
- Payroll oversight and reconciliations
- Insurance and fleet management administration
- Cashflow management and reporting
- Monthly reporting and account reconciliations
- Managing and improving finance processes and procedures
- Working across Xero and Databuild systems
- Supporting the broader business with operational finance matters
About You:
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Company Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper position
- Strong end-to-end accounts experience within construction, property or project-based industries
- Experience using Xero and/or Databuild
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and confidently manage competing priorities
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
