With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, they are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their head office team based in Sydney’s Inner West.

The Role:
Reporting directly to senior management, the Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of the business and supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the company’s financial operations, reporting, and controls
- Preparing monthly management reports, forecasts, and cash flow analysis
- Overseeing budgeting and cost control across multiple commercial projects
- Providing financial insights to project and senior management teams
- Managing compliance, tax obligations, and statutory reporting
- Liaising with external accountants, auditors, and financial stakeholders
- Improving financial systems, processes, and internal controls
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager or Senior Accountant
- Previous experience within construction desirable.
- Experience using Jobpac.
- Strong understanding of project cost control, WIP, and cash flow management
- CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong commercial acumen
