Finishes Foreman
Design & Build are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Finishes Foreman to join a high-performing construction team on a multi-residential development in an inner city suburb. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality finishes on a well-structured, fast-paced project.
You will be reporting to the Site Manager and will take ownership of all finishing stages across the project, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and in line with safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all finishing trades including carpentry, painting, tiling, and final fit-off
- Drive programme adherence and manage short-term schedules for finishing activities
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure defect-free handovers
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring productivity and accountability on site
- Work closely with site management to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
- Uphold and enforce WHS standards at all times
- Oversee defect management and close-out processes
About You
- Proven experience as a Finishes Foreman on multi-residential or similar projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, particularly finishing trades
- Exceptional eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Solid knowledge of WHS practices and site compliance requirements
