We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman
to lead and coordinate all finishing trades on a major commercial project in Brunswick, VIC. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring that all finishes, including tiling, painting, joinery, and fit-offs, are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades and subcontractors on site
- Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations, site safety, and company standards
- Monitor progress against program, ensuring works are completed on time and to quality requirements
- Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, and risk assessments
- Liaise with Project Manager, Site Manager, and other trade supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and project handovers
- Troubleshoot on-site issues to maintain productivity and quality
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman, Site Foreman, or Supervisor on commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of finishing trades, sequencing, and quality standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to problem-solve and make decisions on the spot
- Experience in large-scale commercial fit-outs, refurbishments, or multi-storey projects highly regarded
- Work on a flagship commercial project in Brunswick
- 6-month contract role
