Design & Build are currently working with a leading commercial builder who, due to ongoing project demands, are seeking an experienced Foreman for a landmark $50M church construction project in Brisbane.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a large-scale, community-focused development from mid-stage through to completion.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily site operations and coordinating trades across multiple work fronts
- Conducting site inductions for staff and subcontractors
- Managing subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and programme requirements
- Monitoring site progress and reporting any issues to the Site Manager
- Assisting with project commissioning and handover, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately
- Supporting cost control measures and tracking productivity against budget expectations
- Maintaining strong industrial relations with relevant authorities and unions
- Driving a high-performance site culture focused on safety, efficiency, and quality delivery
- Trade background (essential)
- Proven experience as a Foreman on large-scale commercial or institutional builds
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
- Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance requirements
- Experience delivering projects in the $30M+ range highly regarded
