The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the roadworks package, coordinating trades, subcontractors and day-to-day site activities to ensure the works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
About the Role
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and coordinate trades and subcontractors.
- Take responsibility for the roadworks package on the project.
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and site resources.
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
- Liaise with the Site Manager and Project Manager.
- Monitor progress and assist with maintaining the project programme.
- Maintain site documentation, quality and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve issues on site.
- Proven experience as a Foreman within commercial construction.
- Some civil construction experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working on new build projects.
- Strong ability to coordinate trades, subcontractors and site activities.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and site safety.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your work area.
- Available to start ASAP.
- Able to commit to a long-term contract through to May 2027.
