Working alongside experienced project and commercial teams, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience in contract administration, project reporting, subcontract management, and cost control while building a long-term career in civil construction.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with the administration of contracts and commercial aspects of civil construction projects.
- Supporting the preparation and review of progress claims and variation submissions.
- Assisting with the preparation, review, and management of subcontract agreements.
- Monitoring project costs and helping track subcontractor claims and project expenditure.
- Maintaining accurate project records, documentation, and reporting systems.
- Supporting the bulk earthworks division with project administration and commercial reporting.
- Attending site visits to gain practical project exposure and assist with contract management activities.
- Working closely with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Recently completed Certificate IV in Construction Management or similar construction-related qualification.
- Strong interest in developing a career in civil construction and contract administration.
- Basic understanding of construction contracts, project administration, and commercial processes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with project teams and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work within a fast-paced project environment.
- Current driver's licence preferred.
