Design & Build Recruitment has been exclusively retained to appoint a commercially driven Head of Sales & Marketing on behalf of a highly successful, privately-owned Australian business within the development & consumer services sector who are entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive position offers the opportunity to shape the commercial future of an established multi-site organisation by leading sales, marketing, customer acquisition, pricing strategy and AI-driven business transformation.
This is far more than a traditional marketing role. You'll own the entire revenue strategy, combining commercial leadership with digital innovation to drive measurable business growth.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will:
- Develop and execute the company's sales, marketing and revenue strategy
- Lead AI adoption across marketing, customer engagement and revenue optimisation
- Drive customer acquisition through high-performing digital marketing initiatives
- Optimise pricing, occupancy and commercial performance through data-driven decision making
- Partner closely with the CEO and CFO to deliver revenue growth and business strategy
- Lead and develop a high-performing marketing and revenue team
- Build scalable systems, reporting and commercial capability to support future growth.
We're looking for an experienced commercial leader who brings:
- 10+ years' senior leadership experience across sales, marketing or revenue management
- A proven track record delivering measurable revenue growth
- Strong digital marketing capability including Google Ads, Meta and CRM platforms
- Experience implementing AI tools and automation within commercial functions
- Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to link marketing investment to financial outcomes
- A collaborative leadership style with experience influencing executive stakeholders
- Experience within multi-site, property, hospitality, retail or customer-focused industries will be highly regarded.
- Executive leadership position reporting directly to the CEO
