Our client is a well-established and successful company with a strong national presence and a solid pipeline of upcoming projects. Operating across multiple subsidiaries—including mining, civil, commercial, construction, and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and implementation of health, safety, and emergency management strategies that meet client specifications.
- Present on HSE related topics at pre-start meetings and Toolbox Meetings as required
- Develop comprehensive HSE documentation for projects, including risk assessments, HSE Management Plans, SWMS, and site induction materials Deliver inductions and training packages
- Direct, mentor, and provide guidance to the project health and safety team, ensuring effective supervision and safety oversight.
- Organize and lead audits, site inspections, and control assessments to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
- Facilitate risk assessment workshops and contribute to the creation of construction method statements.
- Lead thorough investigations into incidents, ensuring all reviews are conducted systematically and effectively.
- Identify and facilitate training initiatives to enhance team skills and competencies in health and safety practices.
- Certificate IV in OSH/WHS
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with previous experience
- Civil and commercial Construction experience is advantageous
