Site Safety Coordinator – Major InfrastructureProject
We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Coordinator to join a major infrastructure project in Southern NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity for a safety coordinator with construction, infrastructure or tunnelling experience to join a complex, high-risk project and support the coordination of site safety activities.
The Role reporting to the project safety leadership team, you will coordinate site-based safety activities and support the implementation of WHS systems across the project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate site safety activities and resources
- Provide WHS advice to construction and project teams
- Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions
- Monitor and report safety performance
- Ensure WHS systems and processes are implemented across site
- Participate in construction planning and coordination meetings
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders
- Promote a strong and proactive safety culture
- 4+ years' construction and/or tunnelling safety experience
- Experience across major infrastructure or complex construction projects
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systems
- Experience with audits, investigations and risk assessments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Tunnelling or underground construction experience highly regarded
- OFSC experience highly regarded
- Diploma in WHS or equivalent
- White Card and driver's licence
- 2:1 roster
