A leading Tier 2 commercial builder with a strong presence across NSW and the ACT is seeking an experienced Safety Manager and Advisor
to oversee WHS across multiple active projects in the Canberra region. This company is known for delivering high-quality education, health, aged care, and mixed-use developments ranging from $20M to $200M.
The Role
- Coordinate and manage safety related tasks
- Conduct site inspections, pre-starts & toolbox meetings
- Risk identification & assessment, ensuring regulations are met
- Carry out health and safety audits and work place inspections
- Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety
- 5+ years of WHS in commercial new build projects
- Be able to develop and maintain relationships at all levels
- Have a good understanding of current legislation, regulations & building codes
- Must have full working rights
