A leading national builder with a strong reputation for delivering commercial fitout, and refurbishment projects is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor
to join their Fitout division. Known for their people-first culture, quality delivery, and commitment to safety, this builder offers the opportunity to work across some of Sydney’s most exciting projects.
The Role
This is a roaming HSEQ position covering multiple live projects across Sydney (8–10 sites). You’ll split your time between the office and site, supporting the NSW team with day-to-day safety functions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting monthly site audits and regular site visits
• Maintaining and updating all safety documentation
• Managing safety portals such as Hammertech and Procore
• Supporting safety compliance across all NSW projects
• General HSEQ administration and reporting
• Working closely with the QLD/NSW HSEQ team and Director
• Being visible and proactive on site
What They’re Looking For
• Mid-level experience in HSEQ - 2 years at a minimum
• Confident working across multiple sites
• Practical and hands-on, enjoys being out on site
• Strong understanding of construction safety
• Ability to manage safety paperwork and use online safety portals
• Good communication and stakeholder skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across multiple sites
- Support project teams with SWMS reviews, incident investigations
- Facilitate toolbox talks and safety training sessions
- Assist in developing and implementing HSE management plans
- Provide guidance and support to site teams to maintain a positive safety culture
- Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- Experience in commercial fit out or new build
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable – comfortable moving between sites
- Passionate about continuous improvement and building strong relationships on site
