The role
Working as part of the site team the HSR labourer will manage all aspects of safety on site including:
- 30% Safety - 70% Labour
- Inductions of plant/personnel (Utilizing Hammertech)
- SWMS reviews
- Site walks, hazard ID and rectification
- Reporting to site manager and HSE advisor on safety on site
- Working with site manager to manage trades, form working relationships and coach/mentor workers on HSE
- Ad hoc labouring as required to keep site tidy & safe
- Leading hand duties as required to direct labourers
EBA based rates - Hourly rate + Overtime - Plenty of hours available
Monday to Saturday based role
Experience required
- 12+ months in commercial construction as a Safety officer/Safety Labourer
- Cert IV OHS preferred - HSR cert
- Trade background preferred
- Additional construction high risk tickets highly advantageous.
- Must have full working rights in Australia
