A leading national mechanical contractor with a strong presence across Tier 1 commercial projects is expanding into the ACT market. With multiple commercial projects already secured and a solid 3-year pipeline of work, they are now looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead the establishment of their Canberra division.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role where you’ll not only deliver a flagship project but also build and grow a team around you.
The Role
- Lead delivery of HVAC packages on large-scale commercial projects in Canberra
- Head up the ACT division, acting as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Oversee projects from procurement through to delivery and handover
- Coordinate closely with Sydney-based design and delivery teams
- Build, mentor, and grow a local project team as the division expands
- Manage programme, cost control, subcontractors, and client relationships.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Project Manager on Tier 1 or large-scale commercial projects
- Strong leadership capability with the ambition to build and grow a team
- Ability to operate autonomously while staying aligned with head office
- Solid commercial acumen and project delivery track record
- Experience managing projects from early stages through to completion
- Salary up to $160K + Super + Company Vehicle
- Clear pathway into a division leadership role
- Strong pipeline of secured work (3+ years)
