I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial HVAC contractor that services a diverse portfolio of blue-chip clients across Sydney. With a mix of static and mobile service work, you'll gain exposure to commercial offices, hospitals, educational facilities, retail sites, and other large-scale buildings.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who enjoys fault finding, working on central plant equipment, and building long-term relationships with clients.
The Role
As part of an experienced service team, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and breakdown work across a broad range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role offers a combination of planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work, with strong support from an experienced management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults on central plant equipment, including chillers, pumps, cooling towers and associated mechanical systems.
- Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Complete detailed service reports and communicate effectively with clients on-site.
- Maintain high safety standards while delivering quality workmanship across multiple client sites.
- Qualified HVAC/Refrigeration Technician with relevant Australian trade qualifications and refrigerant handling license.
- Strong experience servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC systems and central plant.
- Proven diagnostic and fault-finding skills on refrigeration and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Up to $55 per hour + Super.
