Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections and assess damage to determine accurate repair methodologies
- Prepare detailed and timely estimates aligned with insurer and client requirements
- Ensure estimates reflect current market rates, labour, materials and subcontractor costs
- Review and adjust scopes and estimates to manage variations and minimise cost overruns
- Deliver high-quality, first-time repairs that achieve outstanding customer satisfaction
- Prepare accurate scopes of work and costings
- Recruit, manage and coordinate subcontractors effectively
- Maintain clear communication with Construction Managers, clients and stakeholders
- Manage costs responsibly while maintaining repair quality and financial viability
- Ensure all work complies with Australian building codes, WHS legislation and local standards
- Work flexibly in a multi-trade environment to minimise rework and delays
- Use company systems and mobile tools to record works, allocate jobs and report accurately
- Maintain correct use and basic upkeep of vehicles, tools, PPE and equipment
- Provide respectful, professional customer service and safeguard customers’ homes and environments
- Experience with construction projects within the insurance sector
- Trade qualification, White Card & Current Drivers Licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in managing budgets and delivering projects within specified timelines
- Sound knowledge of industry standards, practices, and insurance protocols
