D&B is representing a highly reputable Design & Construction company based in Sydney. Our client are seeking an experienced Interior Designer Documenter with 3–5 years of proven industry experience, particularly in large commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Revit and a solid understanding of the design and construction process from concept through completion.
As an Interior Design Documenter, you will play a key role in translating design concepts into accurate, clear, and coordinated documentation for construction. You will support the design team by preparing detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications, primarily using Revit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality documentation packages from design development through to construction documentation.
- Accurately model interior elements using Revit in accordance with project standards.
- Create detailed drawings, plans, and presentations using Revit.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants throughout all project phases.
- Contribute to client presentations and coordinate design approvals.
- Ensure design integrity is maintained throughout construction.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in interior design with a focus on commercial buildings.
- Strong proficiency in Revit is essential.
- Experience working within a design and construction company is required.
- Solid knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A degree in Interior Design or a related field.
