We are partnered with a highly regarded, residential home builder based in Coffs Harbour. 

An exciting opportunity is now available for a motivated IT Services & Systems Technician to join their team.

In this role, you will provide technical support and systems maintenance to internal teams across more than 14 regions throughout NSW, helping ensure the smooth operation of IT systems that support sales, construction, and service teams.

This position is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys problem-solving, supporting end users, and working across a wide range of technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support
  • Respond to IT support requests and provide desk-side and remote assistance to staff.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network connectivity issues.
System Maintenance
  • Set up, configure, and upgrade workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist with maintaining the company intranet and website.
User Account Management
  • Manage user accounts including onboarding/offboarding.
  • Handle password resets and user access permissions across systems and applications.
Security & Compliance
  • Maintain system and data security through antivirus updates and firewall management.
  • Ensure adherence to internal security policies and procedures.
Infrastructure Monitoring
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Assist in maintaining reliable IT infrastructure across the business.
Software Deployment
  • Install, update, and test software solutions.
  • Provide guidance and basic training to staff on new tools and technologies.
Skills & Experience:
  • Solid understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and IT troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 and common business applications.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred (but not essential)
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or similar certifications.
