They are looking for a Leading Hand who is skilled in carpentry and happy to be on the tools while assisting the Site Manager to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly. This role has a view to progress within the business, making it ideal for someone looking to really take the lead within the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in leading in-house carpenters and subcontractors across multiple sites
- Planning daily and weekly tasks, allocating work, and monitoring progress
- Ordering and coordinating materials, tools, and equipment deliveries
- Maintaining site safety, compliance, and cleanliness
- Liaising with suppliers and the internal team
- Representing the builder professionally to clients, consultants, and trades
- Contributing on the tools as required to support your team and drive progress
- Qualified Carpenter with 7+ years experience
- Experience across architecturally designed residential projects
- A proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- A strong understanding of construction sequencing, premium finishes, and site logistics
- The ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining quality and control
