We are seeking an experienced and reliable Lead Carpenter to join our team on a major $12 million construction project in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled carpenter looking to take the next step into a leadership role and play a key part in delivering a high-quality project.
The Role
- Lead and coordinate carpentry works on site
- Supervise and work alongside carpentry teams and subcontractors
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship
- Coordinate with site management and other trades
- Assist with programming, planning and day-to-day site activities
- Ensure works are completed efficiently and to schedule
- Proven experience as a Leading Hand Carpenter / Lead Carpenter
- Strong carpentry background with excellent practical skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate a team
- Strong understanding of construction processes and safety requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, hands-on and quality-focused
- Relevant trade qualifications and tickets
- Up to $110,000 + Super
- Monday to Friday
