to join one of the largest renewable energy projects in Australia.
As the Logistics Superintenden
t you oversee the safe and efficient coordination of all onshore logistics activities for a major infrastructure project. This role will develop and manage site processes for material deliveries, storage, and OSOM (Over Size Over Mass) movements, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Superintendent:
- Coordinate importing, shipping, and storage of project materials and equipment.
- Manage site delivery schedules, offloading procedures, and logistics planning.
- Oversee warehousing, stock control, and material handling systems (including SAP).
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, and onsite teams.
- Ensure HSE standards are met across all storage and logistics activities.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement mitigation plans.
- Provide clear reporting on logistics performance and support project milestones.
- Mentor and support warehouse and logistics personnel.
- Strong background in site logistics, warehousing, and material handling on large infrastructure or energy projects.
- Solid understanding of Incoterms, international shipping, and customs processes.
- Experience with SAP or similar logistics management systems.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Expert in working on remote projects is highly regarded.
