Our client is a leading international food manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and operational excellence. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their engineering team at their Liverpool manufacturing facility.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a range of food manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure maximum plant reliability and production efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- As the Maintenance Electrician you will be carrying out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across production equipment
- The Maintenance Electrician will be diagnosing and fault-finding electrical, PLC, and automation issues
- This Maintenance Electrician will be maintaining conveyors, packaging machinery, processing equipment, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems
- This Maintenance Electrician will be responding to equipment breakdowns and minimising production downtime
- The Maintenance Electrician will assist with continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- As the Maintenance Electrician you will be performing electrical installations and modifications as required
- The Maintenance Electrician will be maintaining accurate maintenance records through the CMMS system
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
