We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join a growing Field Service team, supporting customers across QLD.
Working for a leading OEM, you will play a key role in delivering scheduled maintenance, breakdown support and technical service excellence across there range of industrial equipment.
- $48 – $53 per hour (depending on experience)
- Stay Away Allowance
- Excellent overtime rates
- $15,000 annual vehicle allowance
- Tolls covered
- Petrol card provided
- Phone, laptop and tools supplied
The Role Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- As a Maintenance Fitter you will be carrying out minor PPMs and scheduled preventative maintenance
- The Maintenance Fitter will be diagnosing mechanical faults and identifying corrective actions
- The Maintenance Fitter will be performing servicing, repairs and component replacements
- As the Maintenance Fitter will be supporting ongoing service agreements and customer maintenance programs
- The Maintenance Fitter will be completing service reports and maintenance documentation
- This Maintenance Fitter will be providing technical support and maintaining strong customer relationships
- A requirement for the Maintenance Fitter role will be travelling regularly
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to OEM standards
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter
- Electrical Disconnect / Reconnect
- Previous experience in maintenance or industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Current driver’s licence
- A proactive and safety-focused attitude
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required
