We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a team at a well-established and growing food manufacturing facility based in Glendenning.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time permanent night shift role offering excellent pay, stability, and a supportive team environment.
Working on night shift, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations across our food manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- As Maintenance Fitter you will carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
- As Maintenance Fitter you will be fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- This Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining plant machinery
- This Maintenance Fitter will be supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- The Maintenance Fitter will be pivotal in ensuring all work is completed in line with food safety and workplace safety standards
- Minimising downtime to maintain production targets
- Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (Cert III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment (highly regarded)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously on night shift
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- $68 per hour
