Maintenance Fitter – Afternoon Shift

$50/hr + 17% Afternoon Shift Loading + Overtime
Full-Time Permanent Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Afternoon Shift maintenance team based in Ingleburn.
Working within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance across production machinery and plant equipment to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • As Maintenance Fitter you will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
  • This Maintenance Fitter will diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production machinery
  • The Maintenance Fitter will perform equipment inspections and servicing
  • The Maintenance Fitter will work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
  • As the Maintenance Fitter will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • The Maintenance Fitter will maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • This Maintenance Fitter will complete maintenance reporting and documentation

About You To be successful, you will ideally have:
  • Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, or production environments
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
