Key responsibilities include:
- The Maintenance Fitter will carry out breakdown maintenance and fault finding
- This Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for mechanical repairs and equipment troubleshooting
- The Maintenance Fitter will carry out pre-Planned Maintenance (PPM) activities
- As Maintenance Fitter you will carry out installation and commissioning of new equipment
- The Maintenance Fitter will carry out project and improvement works
- The Maintenance Fitter will be required to maintain accurate maintenance records
- The Maintenance Fitter will be working safely and adhering to site procedures
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and automated equipment (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
